Ritual of Abundance

ritual of pledging

Purpose: The Ritual of Abundance, is a path to drawing abundance and prosperity into one’s life.

Abundance and prosperity do not necessarily mean money, but can be an abundance of health, love, friendship and other blessings such as success in an enterprise or business venture.

Items Needed:

Bune’s sigil, either drawn or printed.
Orange, yellow, and gold candles.
Incense: Oud, sandalwood, or musk.
A piece of copper or gold (ie a coin, or small item of jewelry).
Essential oil of orange.
A bowl of earth*.

Procedure:

Place Bune’s sigil in front of you. Gaze deeply upon the sigil, allowing its design to imprint upon your mind.

As you focus on the sigil, begin to recite Bune’s Enn: “Wehl Melan Avage Bune Tasa” – chant this nine times, feeling the connection with Lady Bune strengthen with each repetition.

Anoint each candle with the essential oil of orange, starting with the gold candle, moving to the orange, and then the yellow.

Place the three candles in a triangular formation around the sigil, the gold farthest from you, orange to your left, yellow to your right.

In the center, over the sigil, place the bowl of earth with the piece of copper or gold on it.

Light the incense, letting the aroma fill the space.

Now light the candles. As you light each candle, call upon Lady Bune:
Gold: “Great Duchess of ancient power, I call upon you in this sacred hour.
Orange: “Queen Bune, bless me with your grace, let abundance in my life take place.
Yellow: “Lady Bune, with fire and earth combined, grant prosperity, as our energies be aligned.

Meditate on your desires, visualizing abundance flowing into your life, as if the energies from the candles are weaving the prosperity you seek.

As you meditate on your desires, slowly chant Bune’s Enn quietly, repeating it until you feel enough focus has been attained.

When your meditation is complete, say;
Oh Great Bune, you know my need, my need is real, not baseless greed.
Guide my hand and guide my path, so it be done in full not half.

As you blow out the candles, from Yellow to Orange to Gold, say “It be done” each time.

Take the sigil from below and, place it over the bowl.

Again, gaze upon Bune’s sigil and recite the Enn three times: “Wehl Melan Avage Bune Tasa”

Finally close the ritual with the affirmation, “What I seek will come to me. It be done, so mote it be.

Leave the altar set up and bowl covered with the sigil for three days and three nights if possible.

*If hygiene is a concern, you need not use earth – decorative beads, sand, or salt make excellent stand-ins for the earth element.
